Volunteer with RegioDev: Help us to re-connect citizens to Europe


Are you passionate about the European idea? Do you want to understand what drives citizens to vote and how we can bridge the gap between people and policymakers?


Do you care about Europe? Do you want to help more people get involved in politics and elections?


In RegioDev we are looking for a team of 10 to 25 volunteers to join us. We are starting a new project, ProVote aiming to improve citizens' participation in the democratic life of the European Union.


If you want to understand why people vote (or why they do not) and you want to work with us and our partners on solutions to help them take part in decision-making, we want you on our team.



What you will do?

In recent years, fewer people have been voting in elections, or they feel disconnected from the EU. We want to find ways of fixing this. Together with our volunteers we will work to uncover motivations, needs and expectations. In this work you will be an active part of our team, not just an observer. Some of the things we will do together with you:


  • Meet regularly in Brussels: We will be meeting once per month in Brussels to discuss the outcomes of our recent work and international events.

  • Participate in international meetings: You will have the chance to travel to other European countries as members of our project.

  • Respond to Surveys: We will be running regular polls and your opinion will be very much appreciated

If you dedicate some time and effort, yes, in many ways. Participating in our projects can help you:

  • Build Your Network: You will meet our partners from all over Europe, including European Institutions, National and European networks, regional and local representations in Brussels, universities and think tanks

  • Broaden your knowledge: You will get access to surveys, presentations and insights from different countries and groups and you will better understand how Europe works at the local level.

  • Improve your skills: We will offer regular trainings on presentations, drafting articles, public speaking and more to all our volunteers for free.
